In the distant future, the Space Force explores the stars. When Cadet Aiden Kim is caught in a holographic simulation program involving old Earth school corporal punishment, the officers of his ship find themselves exploring the past in an up-close and personal way.

The Principal finds that Aiden has wandered into his office, and is perplexed when Aiden begins talking about a simulation, NPCs, map keys and other very out of school terminology. Still, Aiden wouldn't be the first student put on a strange act to try to get out of a well deserved punishment...
Corporal Research 2024.12.13
Given his apparent 'interest' in it, Space Force Psychology has recommended corporal punishment be included in Cadet Aiden's individualized education program, much to the confusion of the ship's senior staff. Officers Riley, Alex and Diego head to the ship's holographic simulator to learn more about corporal punishment.
Tradition 2025.01.10
With his new individualized education program underway, Cadet Aiden reports to Lt. Diego Anderson, the ship's Chief of Security. The chief, being more of a traditionalist, opts for some traditional discipline in his meeting with Aiden.
Operations 2025.02.07
Cadet Aiden next reports to Lt. Alex Jaeger, the ship's Operation's Officer. Alex is more of a matter of fact, let's get this awkward operation over kind of guy. That said, he has also done his research on corporal punishment, and opts for a solid dose of the hand, slipper and carpet beater.
Command 2025.02.21
Cadet Aiden reports to his command division advisor, Lt. Commander Riley French, the ship's first officer. Like Alex and Diego before him, Riley has also done his research on corporal punishment. He opts though for more for a working class, domestic environment for the punishment, which can be created in the ship's holographic simulator.
Final Report 2025.03.07
As Cadet Aiden's individualized education program comes to an end, he must deliver a final report to Captain Hector Palaiologos, whose likeness he used without permission in a questionable holographic simulation that initiated this whole sequence of events.
